Restore full windshield visibility with a direct-fit replacement windshield wiper switch engineered specifically for the 1996–1999 Honda Civic and 1996–1999 Acura Integra coupe and sedan platforms. When the original control becomes unresponsive, sticks, or loses intermittent cycling, this new switch restores reliable rain and snow management using the factory steering column mounting configuration.

Exact Platform Compatibility

This assembly is manufactured to mate with the OEM multi-pin connector and column housing used across these model years. Confirm your vehicle matches the following specifications before installation:

Honda Civic – Model Years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999
Acura Integra – Model Years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999
Supports both Coupe and Sedan body styles

Restored Signal Transmission

The internal contact plate and mechanical lever are designed to clear corrosion buildup and deliver consistent voltage to the wiper motor relay. Unlike temporary connector sprays that degrade under vibration, this complete switch assembly provides stable operation across park, off, low, high, and variable interval modes. The plug-and-wire harness connects directly to the stock routing, eliminating resistance drops that cause slow blade movement or intermittent sparking.

Direct Swap Procedure

Typical replacement involves lowering the steering column trim cover, disconnecting the electrical plug from the rear of the stalk, and releasing the two securing fasteners that retain the original control unit. Align the new switch with the column guide rails, secure the fasteners, reconnect the harness, and cycle all positions to verify clean engagement before replacing the interior panels. No software flashing, module pairing, or code scanning is required.
