Restore complete factory body electrical functionality to left-hand drive Volvo models with this original manufacturer Body Control Module (BCM), also designated as the Central Electronic Module (CEM). Engineered specifically for the P2 platform generations produced between 2000 and 2004, this unit serves as the direct OEM replacement for part numbers 30859699 and 30638707.

In these vehicles, the BCM functions as the primary distribution hub for exterior and interior lighting, power door locks, window regulators, windshield wiper operations, and instrument cluster data routing. A degraded module commonly triggers intermittent circuit failures, non-responsive central locking, battery drain, or multiple simultaneous fault codes across the vehicle network. Replacing the defective unit with a verified original ensures proper voltage regulation, maintains the factory wiring harness compatibility, and preserves the integrated security handshake required for reliable daily operation.

This module has undergone comprehensive bench testing prior to shipment and operates within expected performance thresholds. The housing, connector pins, and internal circuitry show no visible signs of corrosion or physical damage. Units arrive prepared for direct bolt-in installation.
