Restore complete windshield clearance and reliable washer pump operation with this direct 4B0 955 531 A wiper relay. Matching the standard 377-pin configuration, this component replaces degraded switches inside your vehicle’s interior electrical distribution center to eliminate erratic wiping patterns, permanently stuck high-speed cycles, or total motor failure caused by burned internal contacts.

Precise Platform Compatibility

Engineered to interface directly with factory mounting slots, this relay integrates seamlessly across the designated front-drive architecture:

VW Mk4 Jetta, Golf, and Golf GTI series
VW Passat B5 generation
VW Classic Beetle configurations
Select Audi vehicle lines utilizing the identical relay housing and load specifications

Access the unit behind the lower driver-side dash plenum, typically positioned near the horn relay or central comfort module. Remove the existing component by depressing the side retention clips and lifting straight out. Slide the replacement unit into the vacant socket until the integrated locking tabs engage flush with the surrounding relay block. This straightforward swap clears voltage interruptions that trigger dashboard illumination and restores consistent stalk responsiveness.

This component is supplied in used condition, extracted from functional donor assemblies and examined for intact polymer housings, properly seated copper contact pins, and clean grounding surfaces devoid of corrosion build-up. If your instrument cluster displays intermittent wiper circuit warnings or you notice delayed motor engagement when activating the stalk, this exact replacement bridges the power path between the control switch and the relay driver stage. Confirm your existing wiper linkage moves without binding before completing the electrical repair.
